AVi file flipped upside down when using "Extend picture BS Player Free v. 2.27 build 959 (27 feb. 2008) Core2 duo CPU Nvidia 7900GT (driver vers. 169.21) 29" CRT TV connected with S-vhs cable. Windows XP SP2 I've set "Extend picture to 4:3" so that 16:9 movies are shown correct on my TV. That works great and all! I have some avi files taken on my digital camera. When I play them, they are shown upside down and only shown on my computer monitor. If i set "Extend picture to No Change" the avi files from my camera are shown correct on my computer monitor. Still not shown on my tv. If I play the avi files from my camera in other movie viewers there's no problem. I need "Extend picture to 4:3" functionality and to watch my digicam recordings correct (not upside down) without needing to alter the "Extend picture..." function. What do I do? |

This has to do with the filter/codec used for display. Check under (right click >) Options > Filters > Advanced (also click the [+]-s). Check if video-filter/codec has option to "flip screen" or "flip video" or something similar in its properties. PS: I don't think you need to use BS.Player's "extend-feature" for your purpose. (Graphical explanation of "extend"-feature) [Depends on your Nvidia's properties-settings]
