Default Fast Forward then bug

Hi,
i have a problem with BsPlayer, whaterver the version is.
When i use the fast forward function (ctrl+F5), it works a few seconds, but after a moment, bs crash (as i am in full screen view, i have a static picture of the movie).
"escape" doesn't work, "alt + F4" doesn't work.....
The only way to do something is to press "alt tab" and to kill the bs process.
Any idea?

Problem with any type of video-file?
Filters/codecs used by BS.Player for playback?

(Please read items (3) and (4) of my Help2Help-post)

If I remember correctly, those shortcuts speed up the playback, until your computer capabilityes are reached and the CPU will block itself as too much data it's sent to decode. Nowadays CPUs can decode about 4-5x speed and usually the limitation is done by the audio part. If you try to speed up a video without audio stream, you can do better.
