Unhappy Codec Manager not installing codecs

Codec manager does not install FLV, Mpeg2 and the Haali splitter. It appears to go download them and then says complete, but on refresh the codecs are still red and missing.
Had to install manually, is this a common problem, first time I have come across it.

Version/build? PC's OS? (Maybe UAC-related?)

When posting always mention your computer's OS and the version and build number(!) of BS.Player as used by you,
as well as - if applicable and especially when encountering problems - the type(s) of the file(s) mentioned in your post.

OMG guys. I have this problem for quite some time, but I didn't expect that I will find a post from 2011. Are you kidding me? This problem is this old and you didn't fix it?
I have pretty much the same problem. It's BS.Player 2.72 build 1082, but I've had the same problem with the previous versions as well. It's running on Windows 10 Pro x64. Btw UAC doesn't make any difference.
BUT
What's interesting is that I have somehow found the codecmanager.exe file from some older version of BS.Player (not sure which) that works just fine. The codecmanager.exe properties say file version 1.0.1.94 and product version 1.0.1.64.
So first I've just downloaded the codecs I can download with the latest codec manager and then replaced it with the older one and downloaded those 3 codecs.
Please fix this shamefully old bug.

I have manually installed Haalli ( https://haali.su/mkv ) and now BSPlayer works.
