First off, thank you for such an awesome player. I REFUSE to use any other video playing software as my main player. I feel in love with BS player since the first time using it years ago. But this .AVI file crash has me completely frustrated. I'm using BS player Pro 2.22 build 952. Bs Player completely crashes by quickly closing itself after about 4-5 seconds of playing an .avi video file. The bug is entirely repeatable and will happen EVERY TIME I go to play a .avi file. I can only assume my codecs are properly configured because this does not happen when I open a .avi in Media Player Classic or other test players. I know this is a known issue, but I can't find ANY fix ! Help please. :P |

Thanks ! Ok the FFDSHOW video decoder opens. I recently updated this codec and the problem still persists. The Decoder configuration has never been changed by me so its default. Also the same codec icon appears on my taskbar while using Media Classic as well. |

Yes, it's probably the time bomb introduced in v2.21
