Subtitles problem

I use the latest verion of BSPlayer, in my laptop with Vista.
When I try to play mkv files with muxed subtitles, the first two letters are missing or cut.
Also, subtitles are not centered, but they are a little closer to the left side of the frame
I do the same in my desktop with XP Pro, and everything is fine.

Is there any settings about Vista?
