To be sure: you use zoom function of your TV-set (and not of BS.Player)?
Did you already try (in full screen mode) to pan-out a bit ([-] on numeric keyboard)?  (together with "Remember Pan Scan settings" (Instellingen van de beelduitsnede onthouden) in Video preferences/General?)
