Thanks BSPeter I tried as you suggested but I think there must be a problem with my installation. In ffdshow I tried to find any mention of FMP4 - 'Other MPEG4' is there but no FMP4 in the associated list. Ran Codecmanager and reinstalled ffdshow but to no avail. I downloaded a thing called ffdshow tryouts, loaded up beta 6 and FMP4 files are now playing correctly. Don't know what the difference is but it works. I'll let you know what happens when I do a full uninstall-reinstall of BS Player Many thanks for your help |
