Default Open Locked Media Files in Win7 isn't working

I cannot change the file name of a video while it is open in Win7.
It worked okay in XP.
Any clues/help?
Thanks!

You cannot change a filename in WinXP (SP3) either when that same file is playing.
This, I would also say, is normal behaviour (as to be expected).
IMHO this is a windows' rather than a BS.Player feature/issue.

Then I guess I don't know what 'Open Locked Media Files' is used for.
Honestly, I could change the file name of a running video in XP.

Honestly I can't (still using XP SP3; maybe a multi-user environment in your case?)
As indicated by BS.Player itself the option "Open locked media files (files in use)" means: "If checked BSplayer will try to open files that are in use (still downloading, recording...)".
This is a BS.Player feature.
However (as mentioned before) the message/error which you get when trying to change a filename of a file which is in use (by any application for that matter) is an MS-Windows' message.
