Default BS vs DivX Player

i have encoded (divx6.0 codec with dr.divx)a little fragman last night and i wanna play by bs
that is ok i have watched
then try to watch by divx official player
i cant believe my eyes
there was a big quality difference between two player
divx player is realy better than bs
i am sorry to say like that
do you know some additional setup or configuration for bs to have better screen quality?
i dont like divxplayer,bs player i think more functional than divxplayer
dont misunderstand me :)

Try changing the rendering mode in BSplayer to find the best settings for your configuration.. (CTRL+P -> Video -> Video Rendering -> Rendering Mode)

Perhaps also check which codecs/filters BSPlayer actually uses for playback (e.g. ffdshow gives poorer quality). See the last line of item (3) of my Help2Help-post.

Usually DrDivx creates an .divx file that plays better in DivX player. Only in DivX player.

It is all in configuration and preferences. If you like, for example, the damn filtering, that eat sharpness of the picture, and DivX player have it default on, and FFD show not, then you have to configure FFD show to use it as well, bu IMHO it is awfull :(

Any decreasing of picture quality and sharpness is awfull :oops:
