Default how to capture a video...?

i would like some information =( i really didn't understand how the video capture works, and what it does... =d with the new BSPlayer is there a way to capture ... a movie (that is actually playing) in a file? Because I've tried and I can't click on capture. So for the streaming videos or streaming radios and so on, is there a way to capture what-it-is-playing on a file? =|

ps.: briiiiing meeeee toooooo liiiiiiiiifeeee

Unfortunally such a feature is not (yet) available.

The capture option works only with capture devices (TV Tuners, some WebCams, etc.) and is only available after you register the product (press "F1", then press "R" and type your registration info)

But if you haven't got such a device this feature is useless to you..

For streaming video you could e.g. try "Net Transport". I understand the present version has a 90 day trial version (which however seems to remain fully functional afterwards, however with a nag screen at start up). Version 1.87 was released as freeware and may still be available on some freeware sites.
For streaming radio you could try "XstreamRadio" which contains an integrated MP3 recorder with a timer function that allows you to record your favorite music and radio programs easily.

If you have a Tuner or a capture card, then you can capture video files and save them to your hard drive. You will also need a TV antena or cable to plug it into your tuner card so you will be able to receive the programs you want to capture or a digital camera from wich you want to download recorded video files. That is what BSPlayer is doing (besides playing any kind of media files, local ones or streaming).

Support for Capture/Tuner devices & Capture Video to file are the same thing, then =D you wrote it like they're two different features of BSPlayer Pro........... =P

No, they are 2 different features..
You can watch videos from your capture device, PLUS BSplayer gives you the ability to ALSO save those streams to file

I assumed that TV tuner, by definitin, means you watch the TV programs on your PC, isn't ?

You also need software to interface with the TV/radio adapter. I think it can be safely said that most tuner do NOT work out of the box, because of the unstable and ultra bloated bundled software.

Yes, it works like that... Why are you asking? AFAIK you also have got a tuner device..right?

@J7N
I only need the drivers to use my TV Tuner device..no other software..

As our lead-singer said in her earlyer post that support for tuner and capturing are the same thing and you replyed that are 2 different things, I felt obliged to specify that I didn't even thougth that the default use for a TV Tuner won't be counted, and the default use is to watch TV programs from a cable or antena source.

My tuner works OK with his software. But it's an old one.
