What program Codex’s does BSplayer NEED to work properly?

That is true for MY computer, I am still having problems like you described, but THIS topic is ONLY for a friend's computer that has only installed these in this order, and nothing else, yet:

- WinZip v11 (Pro)
- WinRar v3.61 (Pro)
- BSplayer: v1.37 (build 826, 11. Dec 2005) (free version)

And is having trouble with files that I can play (except some slight hanging in the video) They work on my PC, but we are confused and trying to find out what exactly I need to help him install on his computer to get them to work properly as well.

So shoudl we:

- Install 'Gabest's splitter'?
- Or should I install 'FFDShow'?
*what one do we need if we do DL ffdshow?*

Also: we have to install a codec pack, should we install 'CCCP' or 'K-Lite Mega Codec Pack'? (haven't done, yet)
