curlyred is an unknown quantity at this point
Default subtitles will not load
subtitles will not load in bsplayer. i click on load subtitle and find the file and open it, and the open screen goes away, but nothing happens and bsplayer still says i have no subtitles open.
i just got bsplayer pro 2.20, the video is xvid with ac3 audio, and the subtitle file is a .sub.
any suggestions?

Download v2.21, it fixes some bugs related to subtitles.
Plus are you sure your subtitle is a correct and supported file type?
After you load the subtitle, can you see it in BS.Player menu -> Subtitles list?

Is the .sub text-based or is it a graphical .sub?
