Any file, or just mkvs? Try to uninstall/or blacklist any system installed filters. Then install only codecs from codecmanager.exe. Also, a short sample would be nice.

I tried to uninstall many time but same problem. Codec is from bsplayer install menu. Sampe of what? When i run double click on a file a get this message:

BS6 screencap shows LAV filters installed. Can you uninstall LAV and then try again to run videos ? BSPlayer seems to have some issues with LAV filters (I have experienced myself too): DirectShow not installed! 004A for LAV filter |

Yeap,LAV is problem. This not work; Options -> preferences -> filter management -> blacklist Only when i uninsatll LAV, BS run normally! Why this happening? Confrontation with codeck or ? Any chance to fiz this in next version? |

| Works upto LAV 0.37
Hi all, If you want to use LAV with BSPlayer you have to stick to version 0.37. I have tried almost all releases since 0.37 but all of them seem to trigger a bug in BSPlayer 2.61 (and 2.62 beta). New LAV versions work fine with WMP Classic Home Cinema and Windows MediaPlayer. I'd really like to upgrade to the latest LAV release since there have been tons of improvements but BSPlayer is keeping me back. |

I think i find solution,try to put all LAV filters to black list and to unregister all LAV filters,all that set in filter managment and blacklist/whitelist. With my work with 0.50 version of LAV. |

If you blacklist LAV you are not using it in bsplayer so it doesn't matter what version you have installed. If you actually want to use the lav splitter I'm pretty sure 0.37 is the last version that works with BSPlayer. The problem seems to be with BSPlayer though, all other players I tested with newer versions of the LAV splitter work fine. |
