This is an old problem that has been around for a while and I hope to see it fixed soon but as you know, Windows Media Player (with K-Lite) and the thumbnails show and plays personal videos filmed with my phone correctly regardless if they've been filmed horizontally or vertically, however BSPlayer (also with K-lite) only plays them Horizontally and there is no option to rotate it 90° clockwise or counter-clockwise. How is it that a the default media player for Windows 7 plays things well but the updated BSPlayer can't? Am I missing a setting or something? |

You need to use the madVR renderer. VMR and EVR don't support the rotation meta tag unfortunately. Unfortunately, I seem to have issues with using madVR... madVR error |
