OS: WinXP SP2, all updates installed DirectX: 9.0c quartz.dll, Size: 1287680 bytes, Version 6.5.2600.2180 BST, any more information needed ? Just ask for them. EDIT Strange thing. Just encoded a file using DivX 6. BSPlayer plays it with no problem, no error at all. |

Is maybe this post of any value in this connection?

Reinstalled 818, DIvX 6, no XviD files played (but Mplayer2 plays it). But after reinstalling XviD 1.1.0 beta 2, I can play.......older DivX files, using....DIvX 6 decoder. Weird.

same on my computer... and there is a bug: no doubt on it !!! |

The bug must be in the combination of BSPlayer 1.30 / 818 with DivX6 codec (and maybe WinXP?). Just for your information: I've meanwhile tested (under WinMe) BSPlayer 1.30 / 818 with several video formats in combination with DivX5.2.1-codec, e.g.: DivX6 (DXSB) 720x400 (with multiple audiostreams) DivX5 (DX50) 1280x720 DivX4 (DXGM / Open DivX) 1024x464 DivX3 low motion (several) DivX3 fast motion (several) XviD (several) both with MP3 and AC3 sound and.... no problems whatsoever! So the problem is really to be found in the combi of BSPlayer 1.30 / 818 with DivX6 codec (and maybe WinXP?). (Just my 2cts, hoping it may perhaps help a bit to find out what is going wrong) P.S. There also seem to be some problems with VobSub? (not used by me)
