Main window position So, I was wondering... I enable the "show main window on mouse click" and then in full screen move the main window, so it doesn't get in the middle of the movie. Then I exit full screen and the main window is miles away from the movie window. Can I do something so it remembers the position it has outside the full screen, so I don't have to adjust it every time I exit full screen? |

I don't think this would be a good option... Why don't you use the fullscreen bars to handle the playback options? Anyway it has been a good decision to open another topic for this issue since it's really a different topic ;)

Fullscreen bars? If this is the bottom screen panel which appears if you move over the mouse - pretty much cool skins don't support this panel. That's the reason I'm asking if I can go around it...

You can create/add them to your favorite skins (try the skinmaker if you want, it's not so difficult, you only have to pay attention to the format the skin are make, it only supports BSplayer v0.x and v1.x skins)

What skin are we talking about?

With that skin you've been unlucky.. That skin author forgot to rename the Main background file. It seems that BSplayer tries to load a generic Main.bmp file if the defined file is missing, and with this skin it succeed.. But it by casualty, since the real name for this skin should be Main2.bmp and not Main.bmp Plus the author used a really uncommon font without including it into the skin file... If you want to edit that skin with the skinmaker, you have to rename the Main.bmp file to Main2.bmp, and ignore the missing font error message. Anyway that skin is provided without Fullscreen skin, so you have to create the fullscreen skin by yourself without modify the actual skin. Just open the skin maker and press CTRL+F2 (shortcut to create a new fullscreen skin), and save the skinfs.ini file into the Gaia_4 folder (the one in which the skinmaker unpacked the Gaya_4.bsz file when you tried to edit the skin)

It doesn't work or more probably I can't do it. The bmp I choose for the full screen does not have buttons on it, so it's non functional. Another thing - I can't make one button function for play AND pause, can I? |
| |||
Unfortunately not with my program (ATM) You have to create a PLAY button and save (F5), then in BSP SkinMaker open the ini file for edit (F9) Search for your play button name (there should be a [Buttons] section where your buttons are listed) Once you find it you have to edit its line as in the following example (took from BSplayer v2 Base skin): Btn1=play:pause,95,106,0,20:21;$lang.Menu.10/$lang.Menu.11 all you have to edit are the bold parts, where play:pause are the names of the buttons bitmaps (in this example play*.bmp and pause*.bmp), 20:21 are the PLAY and PAUSE actions, $lang.Menu.10/$lang.Menu.11 are the comments for those buttons (automatically translated by BSplayer) You have to leave the other numbers as you find them since they represent the coordinates and style of your button

Did that and it didn't work. The play button lost its play function and that was all. Thank you for the instructions, don't bother anymore. I'll live with it as it is now, guess it would be more work to change it than to adjust myself. |

Sorry it didn't worked :( If you still want to modify a skin you can send me the bsz file and I'll modify it for you..
