Did you allow BS.Player to download filters/codecs for its own (i.e. BS.Player restricted) use? If yes I suspect it is rather a Window's rights/privileges issue. E.g. read this thread (and the one it links to): EVR Renderer

uac is off i did download codecs made it win xp sp2 compatablile just in case but still no change and #$@!$# i deleted 2.41 |

I have the same problem. I reverted to the previous version 2.41
