Did you increase volume of Preamp in BSPlayer's equalizer? ((Rightclick >) Audio > Equalizer > [preamp]) Otherwise: Audio/Winamp Plugins ? - Official BS.Player forums And - of course - if it is AC3 sound you can increase volume in AC3 filter!! (with an appropriate media-file loaded reachable through: rightclick > Options > Filters > Advanced)

AC-3 audio tracks are usually encoded in low volume and/or very high dynamic range. You can use AC3Filter to decode this type of audio. AC3Filter can be tweaked to boost the signal; for start just raise the Master slider.
