2 Problems about BSplayer settings - Help

Hi,

I use BSplayer 2.4 with Windows 7 build 7100
and I ave 2 problems:

1) when I'm tring to open a file it first show me this messege:
"overlay is not compatible with aero. switching to EVR renderer.
you can still switch manually to overlay rendering
(under options - preferences - video - video rendering tab)"

and then it open the file.

a. why is that?
b. How can I fix it?

2) How can I save the settings which I have been made in "options - preferences" section?
Because every time after I'm changing something, after I open the program again, I see that it isn't save nothing from what I have been changed...
Why?
