I think this concerns an already confirmed bug (still existing in most recent build 1049).
For the time being the work-around is to uncheck/ deselect "Remember movie settings" under
(rightclick >) Options > Preferences > General [General settings] http://forum.bsplayer.com/bug-report...html#post43295
