hi, we've had the same problem with version 2.57 load 1051 on a Windows XP SP2: the special characters in Hungarian were all garbled, making the menus literally unreadable. Plus, none of the 2 supplied files solved the problem (unless the method I was following was wrong : save the files in Program Files/Webteh/BSplayer/lang, restart the app and try to select either of the 2 new files with the strange long names from the menu languages >> when doing this, everything stayed in English or garbled Hungarian, whichever language I had before. As if the files had just no effect). In the end, what did the trick was the following: take the original Hungarian.lng, right-click, Open, select Notepad to open with, and in Notepad, do Save as. In the dialog box that comes, on the bottom where there is "Encoding", change that to ANSI and save it like this. Worked like a charm! ![]() |
