I've got some problems with subtitles and mkv format :
-> with mpc AND wmp9, I can choose subtitles (with directvobsub)
-> playing the mkv file with BSPlayer, directvobsub also auto-loads,...

gabest (mpc and vobsub developper) is developing a new DS filter for RV9 format (a demux not a codec)

The devt is not finished today, but it already works and allows me to play rv9...

Theater Mode

FYI, in ATI Clone/Theater Mode, it's impossible to 'Pan&Scan' the movie with any media player I tested. (Theater Mode 'catches' the movie direct from the DirectShow Filters and not from the media...

It seems that you're trying to watch video on a secondary display and without overlay mode.

on my ATI, I put the monitor as primary display and TV as clone/Theater to get the desktop on monitor with video at the same time on TV.

This works for some movies, but it's not...
